Rich’s Sabrette Onion Recipe Ingredients: 1 Large Vidalia Onion ¼ cup Franks Red Hot ½ cup Heinz Ketchup 1/8 cup (or a little more) French’s Yellow Mustard 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil Fresh Coarse Ground Black Pepper Slice 1 Large onion into quarters. Place the quarter on the flat side. Cut each quarter into ¼ inch wide slices. (so that you make long strips) Put 1 tablespoon Olive oil in a saucepan on high. Toss in Onions and cook for a couple minutes. Add ½ cup of water and cook onions until steamed or clear. Lower heat to medium to medium-low. Add ½ cup Ketchup. ¼ cup Red Hot. 1/8 cup of Yellow Mustard. 25 turns, or so, fresh ground Black Pepper. Let cook 10 - 15 minutes. Keep on low heat and serve hot. If the sauce thickens too much it’s OK to add a little water. Put on Hot dogs or Hamburgers.
